Microdermabrasion
is a wonderful miracle! You’ll notice
your skin feeling so much smoother and even look
smoother. It uses a special technique
which utilizes a machine that shoots out micro crystals that break down the
dead skin cells along with any imperfections- wrinkles, fine lines, scars etc.
Studies
have shown that continued use will actually train the skin to develop
differently.
When
the crystals hit the skin, it sends signals to the brain saying that it has
lost skin cells and new ones need to be generated. There for leading your skin to birth new
flourished skin cells as opposed to harboring the old dead ones!- Yuck!
Megalpeels
are most commonly done on the face, but can also be done on the arms, hands,
and décolleté (upper chest area). The
best time for a megapeel to be done is winter, fall, and spring. Since your skin will be super sensitive and
“new”, it is not recommended to be done in the summer time when the sun is the
strongest.
